Health Sciences Department Building of POLTERA is designed to support practice-based learning through various laboratories and health facilities. Throughout the construction process, Waskita Beton Precast continues to ensure that every elements of the building and learning facilities is well-integrated through quality control at every stage of the work. This step was taken to ensure that all learning facilities function in accordance with technical standards and are ready for optimal use by the academic community.
One of the facilities that plays an important role in the final phase of completion is a healthcare training area designed after a mini-hospital. This facility is designed to resemble a real healthcare setting so that the students could gain more practical learning experiences before entering the workforce. The area is equipped with an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) room, a triage room, a medical-surgical room, and various practice rooms that support realistic healthcare service simulations. During the completion process, Waskita Beton Precast also conducted quality control and functional testing of the various facilities in stages to ensure that all learning facilities function as intended when they begin to be used.
At this stage, Waskita Beton is also finalizing the addition of learning facilities such as building utilities, elevators, and the development of surrounding infrastructure through paving and the construction of retaining walls. POLTERA is providing all of these facilities to support a health vocational education program that is increasingly comprehensive and adaptable to educational needs. Currently, the project has reached 92% completion, exceeding the planned schedule (positive variance), and remains on track for completion by the end of August 2026.

As construction enters its final phase, the completion of architectural work, MEP systems, and the optimization of various spaces and facilities have become the primary focus. This phase includes the integration of utility systems, the completion of practice rooms, and the gradual functional testing of all facilities to ensure the building is ready to support the teaching and learning process in accordance with the operational needs of POLTERA’s Department of Health Sciences.
