Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Former vice president Jusuf Kalla said that the political crisis in Egypt could have an impact on Indonesia.

He said that Indonesia had exceptional freedom. "But if corruption, collusion, nepotism, unemployment, poverty and shortage of food happen, (the unrest) like in Egypt could surface," he said.

As regards, all sides should make efforts to prevent it. "We have to make efforts so that it hopefully will not happen," he added.

Kalla added that any matter if not managed well could serve as a trigger of a state crisis.
