Serang, Banten (ANTARA News) - Banten police have named five suspects in the recent clash in Cikeusik which left three Ahmadiyah sect members dead, a spokesman said.

"We are now questioning the suspects in the Cikeusik incident round the clock," Banten Police Chief Brig Gen Putut Eko Bayu Seno, said here Tuesday.

But two of the suspects were now still at large while the three others had been identified by their initials as Uj, Ke, Kn, Knh, he said.

The number of suspects is likely to increase as the police had by now examined a total of 64 witnesses."We continue to pursue the suspects still on the run," Putut said.

He said the situation and conditions in and around the place where the clash occurred at Kampung Oeudeuy, Umbulan village, Cikeusik subdistrict, Pandegllang district, were relatively secure and normal.

Still the police had not yet pulled out their personnel from the area."We continue to guard the area as we still need to do some further examinations and investigations there," Putu said.(*)
