Jakarta (ANTARA News) - US Deputy Chief of Mission Ted Osius Wednesday took part in a hand over ceremony between U.S.-based fire and emergency vehicle manufacturer Oshkosh Corporation and PT. Angkasa Pura II at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, Banten.

Angkasa Pura II purchased four aviation firefighting vehicles from Oshkosh as part of a plan to boost their aviation disaster response capacity, according to a press statement of the US embassy here Thursday.

The vehicles will be placed at Soekarno-Hatta and Halim Perdanakusuma Airports in the Jakarta area, Polonia Airport in Medan, and Supadio Airport in West Kalimantan.
