Rabat (ANTARA News/AFP) - A bomb blast in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh Thursday killed 15 people, six of them French nationals, public television reported quoting medical officials.

"Fifteen people died in this attack, including six French nationals," Casablanca-based 2M television said.

There was no immediate official confirmation for the report.

A hospital official contacted by AFP earlier said seven French nationals were among the wounded, as well as two Dutch, two Swiss, two Russians and two Tunisians.

France has confirmed that there were French casualties but was unable to give a number. (*)
