Nusa Dua, Bali (ANTARA News) - Busyro Muqoddas said that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) would investigate all involved in the alleged bribery case at the sports ministry.

He said KPK would continue developing its investigation to cover as many parties involved as possible.

"The concept is investigation has to be developed to reach as many people involved as possible," he said on the sidelines of the international conference on fighting bribery in business transactions on Tuesday night.

Busryo`s statement confirmed rumours that it planned to summon a cadre from the party that won the 2009 general elections reported to be knowing about the case that had named Wafid Muharam, the secretary of the minister of sports, as a suspect.

Busyro said someone may be summoned just as a witness like what he has once experienced. However, he could be summoned again later if strong evidence was found indicating his involvement in the case.

"So, as long as we have strong evidence we will continue the process," he said.

The case broke after KPK caught Wafid Muharam and the marketing manager of PT Duta Graha Indah, M El Idris as well as the marketing director of PT Anak Negeri, Mindo Rosalina Manulang, on April 21.

KPK in the raid confiscated cheques worth Rp3.2 billion, Toyota Alphard Vellfire and Honda CRV cars.

Searches have also been carried out several times in the room of the sports minister`s secretary`s office and the office of Rosalina Manulang alias Rosa. (*)
