Pacitan, East Java (ANTARA News) - Pacitan police have arrested two youths for allegedly being involved in producing and distributing porn videos that had caused unrest in the district community in the past two weeks.

The two who are all university students have been detained as suspects`, ANTARA News learned here on Saturday.

"That is their confession but we are still studying to know whether they did not just for fun or had deliberately done it," the chief intelligence of the Pacitan resort police, Adjunct Commissioner Sukimin, said.

The case of WR (23), a student of a private university was uncovered after a villager unintentionally receiving the porn video reported to the police.

The villager said he received the porn video made by a cellphone camera from HS (24) the suspected distributor who is a villager of Candi in the subdistrict of Pringkuku.

"WR said he first intended to make the video as a personal file. Unknowingly the video kept in his cellphone was sent to HS`s cellphone. We are still investigating it," Sukimin said.

He said in connection with it WR could be charged with violating Artile 23 of 2002 on Child Protection while HS with violating the law on information and electronic transactions carrying a sentence of 10 years in jail.

The porn video is reported to have spread among youths in Pacitan city and its sorroundings since May and is also believed to have also spread to other cities and regions through the internet.
