Besides hundreds of houses, the floods also inundated one elementary school building and a military dormitory where waters had a depth of between 30 centimeters and one meter, sources said in the locations.
The floods were worsened by the breaking down of river embankment sending water outburst that inundated residents` houses.
La Ode, a resident in Kampung Salo village, said the floods were flash floods from Gunung Jati village and others villages in the area.(*)
