Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Lee Chong Wei from Malaysia won the champion title of the men`s singles in the Djarum Indonesia Open Superseries Premier on Sunday beating Peter Hoeg Gade from Denmark 21-11, 21-7.

The first seeded player dominated the match throughout the game. For Gade this was the 13th loss out of 14 matches against Chong Wei. The age factor might play a part in Gade`s loss. Gade who is now 34 years old, is five years older than Chong Wei.

"I have tried hard but still I lost it. I have to admit that Lee Chong Wei played better than I today. He played with full confidence and enjoyed the game very much," he said.

Chong Wei meanwhile said "I do not know what happened with Peter, why the score difference was so wide especially in the second set."

Chong Wei`s victory on Sunday was the third he made in a row at the Indonesia Open.

Chinese Wang Yihan meanwhile won the champion title of the women`s singles after beating Indian player Saina Nehwal 12-21,

21-12, 21-14. Yihan`s victory dashed Saina`s hope to become the champion of the Indonesia Open again.
