Tegal, Central Java (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono was scheduled to inspect conditions and services at the railway station of the West Java town of Cirebon on Friday afternoon.

The inspection would be conducted on his way to Jakarta from Tegal, Central Java, by train on the last leg of his five-day Ramadhan Safari trips.

President Yudhoyono and First Lady Ani Yudhoyono on the third day of their Ramadhan Safari on Wednesday (Aug 24) took the busy Nagreg route, one of the main routes for home-bound Idul Fitri travelers.

The head of state and his entourage are making Ramadhan (Fasting Month) Safari trips from August 22 to 26, 2011, taking them to several cities in West Java and Central Java provinces.

On Tuesday or the second day of his Ramadhan safari, the president was in Cianjur, West Java.

The Head of state said his Ramadhan Safari was aimed at personally witnessing the activities of communities in several cities that he visited such as Ciawi, Cianjur, Padalarang, Cilacap, Brebes and Tegal.

"My objective during this safari is to meet, greet, and chat with the people," he said.

Earlier, on Monday, the president visited several places in Ciawi where he observed the conditions of an elementary school building in Babakan sub-district, Bogor, West Java.

Among top officials accompanying the president are Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam, Public Works Minister Djoko Kirmanto, National Education Minister Muhammad Nuh, and Cooperatives and Small and Medium Scale Business Minister Syarif Hasan.
