Bogor, West Java (ANTARA News) - The rehabilitation of school infrastructures in Indonesia is targeted to be completed by 2013, Education Minister Muhammad Nuh said here on Monday.

"We expect to see no more inadequate school facilities after 2013," the minister said when inaugurating the National School Rehabilitation Movement at an elementary school in Bogor district, West Java.

The minister said the rehabilitation program would cover improvement of 21,500 classrooms across the country which was predicted to cost around Rp2.8 trillion.

Nuh said the condition of classrooms and their surroundings were one of the factors that could form the characters of a student. "Therefore let us work hand in hand to make the rehabilitation program a success," he said, adding that the government, in realizing the program cooperating with the National Military Force and the local administrations.
