Mataram, NTB (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono hosted a luncheon for Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak at Lombok Novotel Hotel here on Thursday.

The luncheon was held as part of annual bilateral consultation between Yudhoyono and Razak to discuss a number of issues of concern to the two countries.

A number of agenda in the annual consultation were discussed by Indonesian Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa and his Malaysian counterpart Anifah Aman at the Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation between the two countries in Kuala Lumpur last week.

At the time Marty presented a number of progresses in the two countries bilateral relations, among others temporary territorial sea boundary agreement at Sulawesi Sea, technical discussion on the segment border around the strait of Singapore, and the welfare of Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia.

Some time ago at home came up an issue of annexation of an Indonesian area by Malaysia but it was then denied by Foreign Minister Matry Natalegawa.

According to Marty, the two countries bilateral relations had

their respective dynamics that must be managed well in a bid to solve existing problems through dialogs.

When President Yudhoyono and the Malaysian prime minister were having bilateral meeting, First Lady Ani Yudhoyono and Datin Sri Rosmah Mansor were attending a friendly gathering.

In the bilateral meeting with the Malaysian prime minister, President Yudhoyono was accompanied by among others Education and Culture Minister M Nuh, Manpower and Transmigration Minister Muhaimin Iskandar, National Police Chief Gen Timur Pradopo, TNI Chief Admiral Agus Suhartono, and presidential special staff for foreign affairs Teuku Faizasyah.
