Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Host Indonesia`s superiority in gaining general championship titles in SEA Games 2011 in Jakarta and Palembang was still intact compared to its competitors.

Up to the third day of the South East Asian sport events the Indonesian Red and White contingent was still leading the medal tally with 40 golds, 29 silver and 20 bronzes.

Second was the Thai contingent with 20 golds, 16 silver and 24 bronzes, while Vietnam third with 16 golds, 17 silver and 19 bronzes.

Data collected by ANTARA until Sunday at 9.30 pm said that the Indonesian athletes had gained another 17 golds, 14 silver and 11 bronzes, while strongest competitor Thailand gained 14 golds, seven silver and 14 bronzes.

Roller skating contributed four golds, track and field, rowing and karate three golds each, plus two golds from swimming, MTB "Cross Country" cycling and swimming one each.(*)
