Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia`s female cyclist Uyun Muzizah grabbed two gold medals at the Rawamangun Velodrome here on Monday in the ongoing 26th SEA Games.

Chairman of the Indonesian Cycling Sports Association (ISSI) Phanny Tanjung said here on Monday that with the additional two gold medals, Indonesia had confirmed its position as the overall winner of the cycling matches in the Sea Games.

"We have collected 11 medals, and no other country will be able to catch up with us because tonly five gold medals remain for grabs. Our rival, Malaysia, just got four medals," he said.

The cyclist from Tuban, East Java, won two gold medals respectively from the five-kilometer scratch race and women`s omnium.

In the second place was Jutatip Maneephan winning a silver medal in women`s omnium event, the bronze medal winner was Nuhayati from Indonesia.

In the women`s five-kilomter scratch race, the gold medal went to Ujun Muzizah, the silver medal to Jutatip Maneephan from Thailand and the bronze medal to Apryl Eppinger from the Philippines.

Meanwhile, in the men`s omnium event, Mohammad Hafiz from Malaysia grabbed the gold medal, Fatahillah Abdullah from Indonesia won the silver medal and Fakhrullah Ahmad Alias from Malaysia took the bronze medal.

The races for men`s sprint and women`s sprint numbers initially scheduled to be held on Monday, were postponed due to rain falling in the Rawamangun Velodrome area, eastern Jakarta.

The Indonesian contingent eventually achieved its target of grabbing at least 150 gold medals as until the tenth day of the 26th Southeast Asian Games on Sunday it had collected 154 golds while securing first position as the overall champion for the first time since 1997.

The 26th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games is being held in Palembang (South Sumatra Province) and Jakarta, from November 11 to 22, 2011.

The 11 participating countries in the SEA Games are Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Timor Leste.
