Tangerang, Banten (ANTARA News) - The Office of the Minister for Research and Technology is organizing the 6th Open Science Meeting in cooperation with the Indonesian Science Academy and the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Science (KNAW) for two days here from Monday.

The meeting which has been held biennially since 2002 is discussing the impact of clean water on human life.

"The handling of water needs multidisciplinary approaches such as politics, social, science and technology, ethics, natural science, psychology, economy, culture and anthropology," Research and Technology Minister Gusti Muhammad Hatta said in the meeting on Monday.

The meeting was also attended by scientists and researchers from Indonesia, the Netherlands and a number of European countries.
