Samarinda, E. Kalimantan (ANTARA News) - The number of dead victims found at the location of the collapsed bridge in Tenggarong, Kutai Kertanegara, East Kalimatan until Monday afternoon reached 13, a provincial administration spokesman said.

"One of the victims was found wedged in a car just below the bridge that collapsed on Saturday afternoon," spokesperson of the incident command post, Nurhayati said here on Monday.

Ten of the victims have been identified namely M. Fairuz,22, Agus,25, Alisyah (six months old), Fadlan,17, M. Iskandar,35, Samsul,24, Supriyadi,31, M. Huzairi,40, Erli Erlianah,39 and Alisha,9.

Meanwhile, four injured victims were still being treated at the Parikesit General Hospital, Nurhayati said.

In the meantime, President Yudhoyono had ordered the related parties to investigate immediately the cause of Saturday`s collapse of the Kutai Kartanegara bridge.

The 700-m long bridge over the Mahakam river in East Kalimantan province collapsed at 4.30 pm on Saturday causing a number of vehicles to fall into the river.(*)
