Nunun was rushed to the hospital after she fainted during her interrogation by Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators on Monday afternoon.
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Nunun Nurbaeti, alleged bribery suspect in the election of Bank Indonesia (BI/the central bank) deputy governor Miranda Gultom in 2011, was rushed to the MMC Hospital, for a declining health condition on Monday.

Nunun was rushed to the hospital after she fainted during her interrogation by Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators on Monday afternoon.

Nunun, wife of former National Police deputy chief Adang Daradjatun, was taken from the Pondok Bambu Detention House in East Jakarta and arrived at the KPK building for questioning at 3.0 pm.

KPK spokesman Johan Budi said KPK investigators had raised a number of questions before Nunun`s condition declined and fainted.

Until Monday evening, no information from the KPK investigators and doctors on her latest health condition.

Adang Daradjatun, who is also a member of House of Representatives (DPR)`s Commission III on legal and human rights affairs, said in a press conference earlier that his wife would follow the legal process as it should be.

He also thanked the director general for penitentiary who told the public that there was no special treatment for his wife at the Pondok Bambu Detention House.

The director general`s statement eliminated public suspicion for a special treatment for Nunun, he said.

Adang also said that on Sunday, the health condition of his wife happened to drop, so that he hoped that investigators would really pay attention to her condition during the questioning.(*)
