Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Anti-graft Chief Abraham Samad has hinted there could be a new suspect in the alleged corruption case of the Hambalang project.

"Just wait, I am still waiting for the opinions of other leaders of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). We have to maintain our unity," Abraham said.

Abraham made the remarks after a hearing with the House of Representatives (DPR)`s Commission III on legal affairs here on Tuesday.

He was responding to a press question on the follow up of KPK actions in settling a number of big cases such as the Hambalang project.

Reporters asked whether the KPK would name a new suspect in the Hambalang project and whether he or she was a politician. Abraham said that the press should wait and follow further developments.

"Just wait for further developments. I am waiting for the opinions of other KPK leaders so we will have a united view," Abraham said.

He said that even though he wanted to settle major corruption cases soon, he had to respect other KKP leaders who were more patient in facing a legal case.

The KPK chief said he was fast in handling a problem but if other KPL leaders were more patient, he had to adjust to their tempo.

"I cannot make a decision by myself alone, we always act based on a consensus among all KPP leaders," he said. (*)
