Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the presidential office here on Tuesday received Siam Cement Group (SCG) President and CEO Kan Trakulhoon who is visiting Indonesia as part of efforts to expand the company`s business.

"I have heard that you will make more investment here. I warmly welcome it," the President said.

Yudhoyono who was during the meeting accompanied by Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Industry Minister MS Hidayat and Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam said Indonesia has good relations with Thailand.

The head of state expressed his hope that SCG`s partnership with its Indonesian counterpart would strengthen the good ties between the two countries.

During the meeting with the Indonesian leader, Kan Trakulhoon was accompanied by Thai Ambassador to Indonesia Thanatip Upatising, SCG Chemical President Cholanat Yanaranop, PT Chandra Asri Petro Chemical Tbk Vice President Director for Operations Paramate Nisagornsen, Chairman of Barito Pasific and Founder of PT Chandra Asri Petro Chemical Tbk, Prajogo Pangestu, and President Director of PT Chandra Asri Petro Chemical Tbk, Erwin Ciputra.
