Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State-owned construction company PT Adhi Karya Tbk (ADHI) has received a contract for the development of a thermal power plant with a capacity of 2x7 megawatts in Tarakan, East Kalimantan.

The contract was obtained from the Directorate General of Electrical Power at the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, ADHI Corporate Secretary Kurnadi Gularso said here on Wednesday.

It will take 21 months for the company to develop the Rp277.75 billion project under an engineering, procurement and construction scheme, he said.

The company has projected its income to reach Rp9.41 trillion this year, up 34.42 percent of the company`s income target of Rp7 trillion the year before.

In line with the increase in income, the company has set the target of its net profit for 2012 at Rp204.64 billion, up by 11.59 percent from the target of Rp183.37 billion.

The company aims to obtain contracts worth Rp26.5 trillion this year consisting of new contracts worth Rp15 trillion and carry over contracts worth Rp11.5 trillion. (*)
