Semarang, Central Java (ANTARA News) - WBA super champion title holder Chris John will undergo training at Herry`s Gym in Australia before his fight against Japanese Shoji Kimora, at the Marina Bay Sands resort in Singapore on May 5.

On Friday, Mahkota Promotion`s chief of media and promotion affairs Fathan Rangkuti said that Chris John had left for Australia on Thursday night.

He added that Chris John would train under the supervision of his manager and coach Craig Christian for two months until mid-April, and after that he would have light training in Indonesia for five to seven days.

Chris will leave for Australia 10 days in advance for climatization and to join several sessions before the match.

Fathan noted that Chris has promised to knock down the Japanese boxer in the middle of the 12-round fight.

Regarding Daud Yordan, the eighth ranked WBA feather weight boxer who will meet Philippine boxer Lorenzo Silancueva in the Asia Pacific IBO championship, he said that he is still undergoing training in Samarinda, East Kalimantan.

He added that he is still waiting for confirmation on whether the Asia Pacific IBO champion would also be training in Australia.

Chris John`s fight against Shoji Kimora and Daud Yordan`s against Lorenzo would be carried out in a single package under Raja Sapto Promoter.

Their matches will take place in Singapore upon the request of the organizing committee.

Daud Yordan won TKO in the fourth round over US boxer Frankie Archuleta in Australia on November 30, 2011 to become the Asia Pacific IBO champion.
