Jakarta (ANTARA News) - A tectonic earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolts South Sulawesi on Monday at 09.17 a.m. West Indonesian Standard Time (WIB).

"The quake is centered at 82 kilometer southeast of Luwu Timur, South Sulawesi, at the depth of 10 kilometer," spokesman to the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said on Monday.

No report on damage or casualties due to the recent quake.
