It will be signed and issued in the second week of May.Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The presidential regulation on the National Strategy for Corruption Eradication and Prevention will be signed next week, said Kuntoro Mangkusubroto, the chairman of the Presidential Working Unit for Development, Supervision and Oversight (UKP4), here on Tuesday.
"It will be signed and issued in the second week of May," Kuntoro announced, adding that the regulation will cover various instructions which have been and will be issued.
Kuntoro made this statement after attending a meeting on the National Strategy for Corruption Eradication and Prevention chaired by Vice President Boediono at his office.
Also present at the meeting were the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa, Minister for National Development Planning Board Armida Alisyahbana, State Administrative Reform Minister Azwar Abubakar, Coordinating Minister for Economy Hatta Rajasa, Finance Minister Agus Martowardoyo, Attorney General Basri Arif, National Board of Land Affairs Chief Joyo Winoto, Deputy Education Minister Musliar Kasim, Deputy Transportation Minister Bambang Susantono, Deputy Health Minister Ali Ghufron and Home Affairs Ministry Inspector General Maliki Heru Santoso.
Kuntoro added that they have finalized the medium term of the National Strategy for Corruption Eradication and Prevention for the years 2012-2014 and the long term, for the period 2012-2025.
