"We found them on the slab of steep slope."
Bogor, West Java (ANTARA News) - Evacuation teams from Mapala University of Indonesia (UI) and the Marines Corps discovered bodies of passengers of the crashed Russian Sukhoi Superjet 100 no longer intact.

A member of Mapala UI, a nature lover group from state University of Indonesia, Ridwan Hakim, who participated in the evacuation team said here on Friday he had found pieces of the bodies on the slope of the mountain around 10 meter from the search path between Puncak 1 and Puncak 2 at around 10.15am.

"We found them on the slab of steep slope and so to go there one must use a rappling technique," he said adding the ravine is around 400 meter deep and some fractions of the aircraft are seen there.

Seeing pieces of their clothes they seemed to belong to two women and one man. "We have packed them in six bags," he said.

The chief of the Badak Putih 061 Military Resort, Col. AM Putranto, said at Command Post 1 in Cipelang 12 bags of remains had been found so far, six of them still in the ravine and six others already taken to the pad.

"We do not know the number of the bodies but there are already 12 bags," he said.
