Bogor, W Java (ANTARA News) - Three more body bags of Sukhoi Superjet 100 crash victims were flown from a helipad at Pasirpogor village in Bogor district, West Java, to Halim Perdanakusuma airport in Jakarta on Sunday afternoon.

The bodies of the Sukhoi passengers were flown to Jakarta aboard a helicopter after they had been evacuated from the crash site at Mount Salak in the district to the village.

A team of rescue workers found the bodies of the passengers of the ill-fated plane following a search since Saturday.

On Sunday morning, 75 personnel of the joint Search and Rescue team continued their evacuation efforts. They left Cipelang command post for Mount Salak at 07.30 a.m.

"During the evacuation process this time, we are using a rotation system in which members of the joint SAR team who are exhausted can return to the command post to take rest and will be replaced by other members," operation controller Lt Col Fajar Nugraha said at the command post for controlling the evacuation of Sukhoi victims.

The Sukhoi Superjet 100 was carrying 45 passengers, including 34 Indonesians, eight Russians, two Italians and one Frenchman when it crashed at Mount Salak last Wednesday. The accident occurred while the plane was conducting a demonstration flight.(*)
