Surabaya, E Java (ANTARA News) - Persebaya, the Indonesia's Surabaya soccer team defeated Malaysia's Negeri Sembilan club 4-1 (3-0) in an international try-out in the Bung Tomo sports stadium here on Saturday.




The four goals were made by Fernando Soler at the fifth minute, 13th, 29th and the 52nd, while the single goal for the Negeri Sembilan's team netted at 68th minute.




Persebaya's coach Divaldo Alves expressed a pride of such impressive game.




"Persebaya shows its extraordinary achievement to night. Determination caused the opponent under pressure," the Portuguese descent coach said.




In the previous try-out match, Persebaya also defeated another Malaysia's team Kelantan FC with an aggregate score 5-4.




Meanwhile, the Negeri Sembilan team coach, M. Azraai Khor admitted Persebaya's supremacy, although he also regretted some referee's decisions which were considered detrimental to his team.




By winning the try-out game, Persebaya won with aggregate score 6-3 over Negeri Sembilan, after the Malaysia's team shared 2-2 during the two-team match in Paroi, Negeri Sembilan on March 25, 2012. (*)
