Jakarta (ANTARA News) - On May 24, U.S. Ambassador Scot Marciel attended the closing ceremony for the iMulai 4.0 competition, which is sponsored by USAID and Microsoft Indonesia, according to the US Embassy heer in its website on Friday.

The competition, in its fourth year, provides incentives for high-tech startups to create new software products and services that improve the way entrepreneurs do business.

Each of the ten iMulai 4.0 winners received a professional-grade startup software suite from Microsoft valued at $300,000, hardware to support their businesses, and participation in special entrepreneurship boot camps to help them develop and grow.

USAID`s partnership with Microsoft for iMulai 4.0 helps promote the development of science, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Indonesia.

Also present at the closing ceremony were Deputy Minister of the Economy Ediputra Irawady, Director for Cooperation in Media Design in Science and Technology Lolly Amalia, and President Director for Microsoft Indonesia Andreas Diantoro.
