"It is a natural decline and has been expected."
Palu (ANTARA News) - Oil production from the Tiaka block in the regency of Morowali, Central Sulawesi, has continued to decline over the past two years.

"It is a natural decline and has been expected," Indra Prasetya the general manager of the block operator PT. JOB Pertamina, Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi, said.

Indra said normally the block produced up to 1,400 barrels of oil per day , but the production averages only 1,200 barrels per day.

The company has sought to prevent the production fall and managed to raise the output but the increase could not last long, he said here on Tuesday.
