The number of passengers was higher in the late morning and at noon.Jakarta (ANTARA News) - A total of 2,631 returning Lebaran holiday travelers arrived at Kalideres bus terminal in West Jakarta between 7 pm on Thursday through 7 am on Friday.
"Since 7 on Thursday evening to 7 on Friday morning 152 buses with 2,631 passengers have arrived here and taken other transportation to their respective destinations," Kalideres bus terminal spokesman M Nasir said on Friday.
According to him, the number of passengers was higher in the late morning and at noon, although many of them have been dropped at the transit terminals of Pulogadung and Lebakbulus.
Nasir noted that during the past 12 hours 729 passengers on board 37 buses from West Java arrived at Kalideres terminal, and there were 702 passengers arriving on 35 buses from Central Java.
Further, 777 passengers on 94 buses left the terminal from 7 on Thursday evening to 7 on Friday morning.
