"Thus, we have to sacrifice to show love, willingness and sincerity."
Kuala Lumpur (ANTARA News) - Indonesian Ambassador to Malaysia, Herman Prayitno has called on embassy officials to provide sincere service to Indonesian citizens in Malaysia, such as willingness to help the citizens at anytime, either requested or unsolicited.

"As people who work for Indonesian citizens, we have to provide our sincere services to them," Herman said during the Eid-al-Adha sermon on Friday.

He urged the people to boost the spirit of self-sacrifice, intended towards God and humans.

"This is a good time for us to build good attitude and solidarity towards each other," he said.

Prayitno stated that the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur has the main mandate to maintain bilateral cooperation with Malaysia, as well as to service and protect Indonesian citizens.

"Thus, we have to sacrifice to show love, willingness and sincerity to help our own brothers and sisters," he said.

Speaking at the same platform, Muslim cleric Muzakkir said that sacrifice is the fixed price for achieving glory and thus, it has to be implemented in social life, such as through helping each other.

"The best man is one most beneficial to another," he said while quoting Prophet Muhammad, validated by Imam Albany.
