Bali, Indonesia (ANTARA News) - South Korean President Lee Myung-bak left for Thailand on Friday, wrapping up a three-day visit to Indonesia`s resort island of Bali where he attended an international democracy conference and summit talks with his Indonesian and Australian counterparts.

In a keynote speech at the Bali Democracy Forum, Lee urged Japan to repent sincerely for trampling on human rights of Korean and other Asian women forced into sexual slavery during World War II, saying addressing the matter of universal human values would raise its international standing.

On the sidelines of the conference, Lee held a summit with Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, and agreed to convene high-level security talks, dubbed a "two plus two" meeting involving their foreign and defense ministers, at an early date.

Lee`s meeting with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono produced agreements to speed up free trade negotiations to conclude a comprehensive economic partnership agreement as early as possible and to bolster all-around economic cooperation, especially in green growth and the defense industry.

The sides also signed a memorandum of understanding on "green car" development cooperation.

In Bangkok, Lee will hold summit talks with Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra expected to focus on boosting economic and other cooperation.
