Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will soon convey his view about the Constitutional Court`s ruling on the dissolution of BP Migas, the upstream oil and gas regulator.

"I find it important and therefor I am going to deliver my explanation about BP Migas because the dissolution will have a negative impact on investment," President Yudhoyono said at Merdeka Palace here on Wednesday.

The head of state said he would convey his view about the matter before 3 on Wednesday afternoon.

He hoped that with his explanation, the people would understand what was going on and how the government would deal with it.

The president made the statement at Merdeka Palace while waiting for Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt for a bilateral meeting.

President Yudhoyono is scheduled to receive the visiting Swedish prime minister at the Merdeka Palace on Wednesday.

In his press statement, presidential special staff for international relations Teuku Faizasyah said Reinfeldt was on his working visit to Indonesia from Tuesday to Wednesday.

According to Faizasyah, the Swedish prime minister during his visit would meet with President Yudhoyono to discuss ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various fields.

"President Yudhoyono and Reinfeldt during the bilateral meeting will discuss improvement of two countries` cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, environment, besides global and regional issues," Faizasyah said.

He added that President Yudhoyono will receive the Swedish prime minister at 10.30 on Wednesday morning for the bilateral meeting and later the president will host a luncheon with Reinfeldt.

During his visit, the Swedish prime minister is also scheduled to meet Indonesian business players at the "Roundtable Power Talks, Indonesia-Sweden Unlocking the Innovation Potentials", arranged by the Swedish Trade Council.(*)
