Jayapura, Papua (ANTARA News) - A 5.9-magnitude undersea earthquake rocked West Sumba district in West Nusa Tenggara province early Thursday, according to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).

The epicenter of the quake which struck at 01.46 a.m. local time was located 271 km southwest of West Sumba at a depth of 10 km, the agency said.

There was no immediate report of casualties or material damage.
