Budapest (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono arrived in Hungary on Wednesday for a two-day visit.

The President accompanied by First Lady Ani Yudhoyono arrived at Liszt Ferenc international airport in Budapest at 10.48 a.m. local time. He was greeted by Indonesian Ambassador to Hungary Maruli Tua Sagala upon arrival at the airport.

Yudhoyono is in Hungary as part of a week-long European visit which earlier took him to Germany.

Two German jet fighters escorted the plane carrying the Indonesian leader and entourage while it was flying over the German territory.

Yudhoyono will be in Hungary for two days during which he will hold talks with President Janos Ader, Prime Minister Viktor Orban and a number of businessmen.

President Janos Ader will receive the Indonesian leader in a state ceremony at Szent Gyorgy Square. Afterwards, delegations of the two countries will hold a bilateral meeting.

At the meeting the foreign ministries of the two countries will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on diplomatic education and training.

On Wednesday night, President Yudhoyono and entourage will attend a banquet at the state palace.

On Thursday morning, the Indonesian head of state will hold bilateral talks with Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

The President`s entourage also includes Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan, Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Mari Elka Pangestu, Industry Minister MS Hidayat and Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam.
