Jakarta (ANTARA News) - State-owned Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan finally attended the House of Representatives Commission IX hearing after he failed to meet the commission`s four times of invitations to discuss outsourcing scheme at the state-run companies.

Dahlan arrived at the House commission IX meeting room about 15 minutes before the meeting schedule at 10.00 am Western Indonesia Standard Time (WIB).

The Enterprises Minister at the moment was flanked by president directors of among other things from PT Telkom, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, PT Pertamina, PT PLN PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry and secretary to the ministry, Imam A Putro.

The meeting was led by the House commission IX chairperson, Ribka Tjiptaning.

When Ribka opened the hearing, however, she notified that the meeting should be postponed, pending the arrival of the Manpower Minister, Muhaimin Iskandar at the same commission hearing.

Meanwhile, around 1,000 workers of state companies - electricity company PLN, telecommunication operator PT Telkom (Persero), and oil and gas company PT Pertamina plan to launch protest demanding outsourcing system of employment for the improvement of their fate.
