"Of course, this (incident) has drawn attention from all of us."
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Tuesday asked Indonesian citizens living in the US to increase vigilance following two explosions that rocked the Boston Marathon on Monday, presidential spokesman Julian Aldrin Pasha said.

"Of course, this (incident) has drawn attention from all of us. The President hoped that Indonesian citizens living anywhere including the US would increase vigilance to avoid unexpected things," he said at the Presidential Office here.

Julian said President Yudhoyono had expressed his sympathy to the families of those falling victim to the explosions.

The President also had monitored developments in the wake of the twin explosions and had received reports from Indonesian Ambassador to the US Dino Patti Djalal and consulates generals in the country about the incident, he said.

No Indonesians are reported to have fallen victim to the explosions.

The twin explosions happened at around 3 p.m. local time on Monday, killing three people and injuring more than 100 others.

No party has claimed responsibility for the explosions.
