Tangerang, Banten (ANTARA News) - During the Labor Day or May Day, the International Soekarno-Hatta Airport at Tangerang, Banten, was secured by joint-security personnel from the National Police and Military to anticipate the anarchic actions.

"We deployed two thousands personnel to secure the airport's area as it was chosen to be the major stage to deliver the labor's aspiration," said Soekarno-Hatta Airport's Head of Police Sector Senior Commissioner CH Patoppoi here on Wednesday.

Pattopoi said those two thousands personnel were came from six unit forces of Metro Jaya Regional Police's Mobile Brigade (Brimob) and four unit forces of Indonesian Military and also supported by firefighters.

According to Pattopoi, the security will be centered at the entrance gate of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport as well as in other areas, and they have required that the labors should be on the range of 500 meters away from the inside area.

"Please organize a demonstration orderly and obey the rules. We hope it will run conducive, if there were anarchist action then we would take a procedural action," he said.

Previously, the Tangerang's Labors' Coordinator Koswara said during the May Day commemoration, they would make a rally to Soekarno-Hatta Airport that considered as a strategic point to deliver their aspirations.

Koswara said they will be demanding higher wages, revocation of the outsourcing system, and implementation of health insurance for all Indonesian citizens by January 1, 2014.

"We also demand anti-violent to women workers, refuse the removal of labor union and demand unconditional health service to public," he added.
