Jakarta, Indonesia, May 7, 2013 - (ANTARA) - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (IDX:JSMR) booked 2012 Toll Revenues of Rp.5,580 trillion, up 15.25% as compared to that of 2011 which reached Rp.4,840 trillion. As of 2012, the Financial Statements of Jasa Marga fully implemented the IFRS-based Financial Accounting Standards in accordance with the applicable provisions. EBITDA of the Company was up 23.55% from Rp.3,140 trillion in 2011 to Rp.3,880 trillion in 2012.

Net Profit of the Company in 2012 reached Rp.1,600 trillion, up 33.92% as compared to that of 2011 which reached Rp.1,200 trillion. Transaction volume in 2012 reached 1.2 billion vehicles, or up 10.04% compared to 2011 which reached 1.09 billion vehicles. This was supported by the relatively high growth of the traffic volume of Bogor Outer Ring Road (BORR) Link Section 1, Semarang - Solo Link Section Semarang - Ungaran, and Surabaya - Mojokerto Link Section 1A.

In line with the increased net profit, one of the agenda items at the General Meeting of Shareholders was that the President Director of Jasa Marga, Adityawarman would announce the dividends to be distributed amongst the Shareholders.

Realized transaction traffic volume for the first quarter of 2013 was 299,430 million vehicles, less 0.41% or 1,200 million vehicles of the planned volume of 300,650 million vehicles. However, if compared to the same period in 2012, which reached the figures of 285,250 million vehicles, there was a 5% increase of 14,181 million vehicles as compared to that of 2012. Realized toll revenues for the first quarter of 2013 increased by Rp.94,910 billion as compared to thefirst quarter 2011, and 7.2% higher than the first quarter 2012 toll revenues of Rp.1,311 trillion.

Increased Transaction and Construction Services

As a commitment to continuously increasing service quality, the Company has implemented an e-Toll Card in various toll road links managed by the Company. The national usage rate of e-Toll Card increased. This was evident in the 2012 e-Toll Card usage rate of 9.25% of the total transactions as compared to that of 2011, which reached 5.17% of total transactions. For toll gates situated around the residential areas, the e-Toll Card usage reached more than 20% of the total transactions at the gates. The Company expects the e-Toll Card usage to reach 30% of the total transactions for the next 2 - 3 years.

In 2012, the Company increased the transaction capacity by increasing the number of toll booths to 885 booths (including 51 Automatic Toll Booths) from the previous year of 853 booths. The Company has also introduced e-Tollpass as the newest technology of non-cash payment system.

In the field of construction, the Company has undertaken activities to increase the road capacity (widening) during the year 2012 in the form of an increment in the Pasteur - Kopo Link Lane spanning approximately 8.85 km long (KM 127 + 200 through KM 136 + 050) on the Padalarang - Cileunyi Toll Road, continued with an increment in the road capacity of the Kopo - Buah Batu Link Lane spanning 7,15 km (KM 136 + 050 through KM 143 + 200).

In the first quarter of 2013, in order to increase smoothness, safety and convenience for toll road users, Jasa Marga performed construction repairs by closing holes on the toll roads due to extremely high precipitation. And in the framework of preparing to serve toll road users, Jasa Marga performs the standardization of Mobile Rescue owned by each branch and provides 24/7 readily available service fleets. Jasa Marga also renewed the Toll Gates in Jakarta - Cikampek from February 2013 for the convenience of toll road users.

Corporate Social Responsibilities

In addition to partnership programmes, the Company also conducts the Environmental Fostering to help Jasa Marga to grow together with society. Some of the activities to support increases in the public health are free medical treatment for the local residents situated around the Head Office, Branch Offices and Subsidiaries across Indonesia. People making use of the free medical treatment at approximately 11 locations reach 5000 people.

In the field of environmental conservation, Jasa Marga has performed the activity of toll road afforestation as one of the efforts to mitigate the effects of environmental change. During the year 2012, more than 161 thousand trees were planted or up 15.8% from that of 2011.

In addition to toll road afforestation, the Company also participated in mangrove planting in Bali, precisely around the Nusa Dua - Ngurah Rai - Benoa Toll Road Construction site. In addition thereto, in collaboration with the University of Udayana, Jasa Marga also initiated a mangrove tree seeding process.

In addition to caring for the environment around the toll roads, Jasa Marga also lends support to former national athletes who have had achievements at an international level, but whose circumstances are currently incompatible with their experiences. Jasa Marga has granted Rp.50 million in allowances to 15 select former athletes. It is expected that they may use the money to improve their lives.
