"We can bridge trade and economic relations between Indonesia and Tunisia as well as bridging the country to enter the region as the state is located in a strategic position in the northern part of Africa," said Belhassen on his visit to ANTARA News Agency here, Tuesday.

Belhassen who was welcomed by managing director of ANTARA News Agency Saiful Hadi conducted the visit to discuss implementation of cooperation agreement.

The ambassador said Tunisia has good links with the African countries and there are a lot of commodities from both countries for exports and imports that will enhance trade relations.

Currently, Belhassen added, Tunisia is working on the possibility of inviting Indonesian business delegations to that country to look for potential economic cooperation possibilities.

"We are working with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) after planning to visit the Middle East region," said Belhassen.

He added the visit will be very important for both countries for enhancing economic cooperation seeing the existing potential possibilities.
