Jakarta (ANTARA News) - European Union has launched dumping accusation against Indonesia`s bio-diesel which is derived from palm oil, and subject to anti-dumping duties ranging from 2.8 percent to 9.6 percent.

"Although the European Union decision is only temporary, but it leaves losses to Indonesia," deputy Trade Minister, Bayu Krisnamurthi, told the press here on Friday.

EU took provisional decision to impose the anti-dumping two days ago, he said.

"From the govenrment`s point of view, the EU`s decision was incorrect. We still have an opportunity to refute the charge," Bayu said.

Indonesian government and some businessmen will convey some objections to EU, he explained. (A061/B003)
