I hope your arrival here would further strengthen and expand our cooperation and partnership."
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono received a US-ASEAN Business Council (ASABC) delegation here on Monday to discuss opportunities to increase economic cooperation.

"I hope your arrival here would further strengthen and expand our cooperation and partnership," he said when receiving the delegation led by USABC chairperson Evan Greenberg.

President Yudhoyono said Indonesia still had a number of homework in the field of economy including maintaining what the country has achieved and meeting its national development targets.

This was not the first meeting between the President and the USABC. On September 24, 2012, President Yudhoyono met with the USABC delegation in New York, when receiving an award from USABC.

The appreciation was given to President Yudhoyono as an ASEAN leader for his success in increasing Indonesia`s economic growth, improving the country`s state finance and opening opportunities for the development of business relations between Indonesia and the US through Indonesia-US comprehensive partnership.

Besides Even Greenberg, the USABC delegates included USABC deputy chairpersons Keith Williams and Greg Brown, US ambassador Scot E Marciel, Phillips Conoco president Ryan Lance, Ernst and Young president Mark Weinberger and PWC Worldwide chairman Dennis Nally.

President Yudhoyono at the meeting was flanked by chief economic minister Hatta Rajasa, industry minister MS Hidayat, trade minister Gita Wirjawan, finance minister Chatib Basri and foreign minister Marty Natalegawa.
