The president has received the names of police chief nominees, proposed by the current police chief General Timur Pradopo, and he will be submitting the names to the parliament, said Julian Aldrin Pasha, spokesperson of President Yudhoyono, on Friday.
The head of state received the names from General Pradopo on September 26, 2013, he added.
Pasha refused to disclose the number of nominees proposed by Pradopo, who will be reaching his retirement age soon.
