Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has temporarily stopped cooperation between Indonesia and Australia in a number of areas pending the settlement of alleged spy issues.

The President told the press about the decision after he met with Indonesian Ambassador to Australia Najib Riphat Kesoema and a number of ministers on Wednesday.

The ministers included Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Cabinet Minister Dipo Alam and Head of the State Intelligence Agency Marciano Norman.
