Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono held bilateral talks with Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah at the Merdeka Palace here on Friday.

Rami who arrived at the Merdeka Palace at around 04.00 p.m. was received in a state ceremony with a 19-gun salute in his honor.

The two leaders later held a tete-a-tete and led delegations of the two nations in bilateral talks.

During the bilateral talks, President Yudhoyono was accompanied by Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa, Defense Minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro, and National Police Chief Gen Sutarman, while Prime Minister Rami was flanked by Foreign Minister Riyad Malki, National Economic Minister Jawad NA Hirzallah, Development Planning Minister Mohammed AM Aburamadan and Palestinian Ambassador to Indonesia Fariz N Mehdawi.(*)
