Surabaya, East Java (ANTARA News) - The Peoples Conscience (Hanura) Party Chairman Wiranto has claimed that his political party is spotless of any corruption cases in Indonesia.

"Hanura party has educated its cadres to be guided by their respective conscience, and as a result, the party has been dubbed the most spotless up to now," Wiranto stated in his oration during a campaign at Pancasila sport stadium here on Tuesday.

He noted that since the past eight years, Hanura has earned appraisals from various survey institutes and observers as the party that is cleanest from corruption crime.

"To become a spotless party is extremely difficult to attain but for Hanura, it is possible because the cadres are guided by their respective conscience," Wiranto pointed out.

The Hanura party chairman stated that a leader who is led by his or her conscience will find it easy to side with peoples interest.

The presidential candidate from Hanura party also stated that he has three priorities to develop Indonesia in the next five years if he is elected president in the July presidential election.

His priorities to develop the nation include protection of all citizens, improvement of education, and improvement of peoples welfare.

After staging the campaign at Pancasila sport stadium, Wiranto and his entourage then made their way to Probolinggo, also in East Java, to proceed with the campaign.
