I still wait and keep track of the progress."
Pekanbaru, Riau (ANTARA News) - Former Vice President M. Jusuf Kalla confessed to still awaiting news from the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) related to the announcement of the running mate of its presidential nominee, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

"We are going to talk about it later. We will see how it goes. I still wait and keep track of the progress," noted, Kalla, the chairman of Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), after inaugurating the new board members of the PMI, here on Monday.

Kalla refused to divulge details about his viewpoint regarding Jokowi. When questioned about his opinion on this matter, he simply laughed it off as he approached his car.

Earlier, according to several media reports, Kalla is one of the three names being considered as Jokowis running mate.

The three names are reportedly Kalla, the former Army chief of staff Ryamizard Ryacudu, and former Constitutional Court chief justice Mahfud MD.

However, Kalla is said to be the strongest candidate, as compared to the two other names.
