Samarinda, East Kalimantan (ANTARA News) - Four dead and eight others were still missing after a three story building, which is still under construction, collapsed in Samarinda city, Indonesia last Tuesday (June 3) morning.

According to information obtained by Antara on Wednesday, the four victims were construction workers. Up till now the search and rescue team was still trying to look for eight more workers who are said to be buried under the ruins of the collapsed building.

"We use heavy machinery to help clear out the ruins and look for the missing workers," spokesman from local search and rescue team Mujiono said.

Report said there were 84 people working at the construction site. About 64 of them were saved with five among them having minor injuries.

The workers are mostly from cities in the East Java Province, such as Trenggalek, Kediri, Tulung Agung, and Ponorogo.
