Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Bank Indonesia (BI) decided at a meeting of its board of governors here on Thursday to keep its benchmark interest rate unchanged at 7.5 percent.

The meeting also decided to maintain lending facility rate and deposit facility rate at 7.5 percent and 5.75 percent, respectively.

"The policy is still consistent with the effort to achieve the inflation rate target of 4.5, plus and minus one, percent in 2015, and to lower the current account deficit to a healthier level," BI Governor Agus Martowardojo told a press conference. (*)
