At the gala event, Perfect World took a nostalgic look at the company's experience from 2004 to 2014, using rich media to convey the different meanings that Perfect World had for each and every person who was a part of the journey. At the same time, Perfect World also expressed its hope for the future and appreciation of the up and coming generation.

The launch ceremony for the Young Global Leaders Laboratory program was held during the 10th anniversary gala, with the aim of providing a commonweal sponsorship and a platform for fostering underprivileged talented young individuals. Jointly launched by a group comprised of several ministries, commissions and organizations including Perfect World, United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization ("UNESCO"), China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Commerce, the program covers a range of projects, including but not limited to the long-term provision of financial aid for UNESCO's World Scout Youth Forum and the development of young individuals as well as efforts in poverty relief.

As a business born in China and now as a mature player on the international arena, Perfect World has been shouldering and fulfilling its social responsibilities through a wide array of public service campaigns over the years. Since its establishment, Perfect World has continued to increase its engagement in public services, ranging from contributions to charities involved with education and the launch of the "Million Signature Campaign" in the early years, to donations to Fenghua Love and Hope Elementary School as well as to the Golden Wings Art Rehabilitation Service Center for Disabled Children, disaster relief efforts during the Wenchuan, Yushu and Ya'an earthquakes and poverty relief projects in the borders towns and villages of Yunnan province. Perfect World attaches particular importance to those projects that foster the education of young individuals as well as those that contribute to social services.

In 2014, Perfect World further expanded its efforts in education and educational exchanges through a series of collaborations with UNESCO, Columbia University, the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico ("UNAM") and the College of Europe. At the end of 2014, Perfect World co-hosted "Traveling and Knowing China·Perfect World," a Sino-US youth elite project aimed at fostering talented individuals and engaging in educational exchanges based on international cooperation as well as providing ever improved and broader platform on a global scale for competent men and women.
