Jakarta (ANTARA News) - A bomb blast hit the Indonesian Embassy in Yemen on Monday, leaving two staffers injured lightly, an official source said.

"The bomb left two staffers of the embassy injured lightly and prompted several others to flee to the residence of the Indonesian ambassador in Sanaa," the official who spoke on condition of anonymity said.

The bomb destroyed nearly 90 percent of the embassy building, he said.

The bomb blast occurred as the Indonesian government was trying to evacuate its citizens from the war-torn country.(*)
